The Funk on closing night at the Berks Jazz Festival.

Also, on Monday June 9th, after his Sunday night performance at the Capitol Jazz Fest in DC, Brian had the opportunity to visit with local children at the Levine School of Music at "THEARC" in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, DC. He met with approximately 45 students and parents. Brian's task for the evening was to provide feedback as well as instruction on musicianship and technique. It was an enjoyable time for all. When asked about the experience, Brian had this to say, "It felt wonderful to coach such a diverse group of students who are already displaying talent and a love for the art."
